"While I do find Steve and Morgan helpful, State Farm as a company is absolutely horrendous! Our basement had a flood in July… JULY! The remediation company came in and dried it out. We waited for about 6-8 weeks to receive a check to pay them. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, mold has grown again. They are trying to say that it is because we didn’t have the asbestos removed… with the money they didn’t send us until recently. Which we then had to send to our lender to sign and send back to us before we could deposit it. We had an independent mold test done recently because we were told that the pictures we sent in were not new mold growth. Lo and behold, it is mold. Mold report sent to adjuster first week of October and just today, the remediation company called us because State Farm just told them that there was a problem. We have renters in this home and NO ONE CARES! Their company response time is up to 48 hours, but our adjuster evidently works under his own guidelines of whenever the heck he feels like it and it is not going to be anytime within the week that you email him. Our house is torn apart, mold continues to grow. How long will this go on? We don’t know, but you better believe that State Farm sends us a bill and collects our payment every single month. What a joke."

"I had the worst experience. Steve is not an honest man. He promises, but does not follow through. their agent put wrong escrow company in my policy. I was made accountable for paying it or else with threatened to have my policy canceled. I found their error, I was threatened by a worker at State Farm that my policy would be canceled if I did not pay the $1217 .00 or else State Farm would cancel my policy. It took me three months to retrieve my money because Steve promised he would work on correcting their mistake but never did. Be careful, if this is how they act what will they do if you really have a claim?"
